Manchester United officially reveal 2025/26 home kit release date

Manchester United’s chaotic 2024/25 campaign is now firmly in the rear-view mirror as the club accelerates plans for a fresh start under Ruben Amorim.

Despite finishing a dismal 15th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final to Tottenham, there’s renewed optimism at Old Trafford.

The arrival of Matheus Cunha as the first signing of the summer signals a more aggressive transfer approach, with United also pushing forward in their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo.

Ruben Amorim, who faced immense pressure after a difficult first few months, is expected to be heavily backed by INEOS as the club restructures both its squad and internal leadership.

Sir Dave Brailsford stepping back from day-to-day duties is just one of many behind-the-scenes changes as United aim to put the past behind them.

Now, with the new season looming, attention has turned to the kit United will wear in their attempt to turn things around.

The club has officially announced that the 2025/26 home kit will be unveiled on Thursday, 12 June 2025, with a global launch via retail stores and the official club website.

It marks a symbolic break from a cursed 2024/25 shirt that saw United register one of their worst campaigns in Premier League history.

Supporters will get a first glimpse of the kit in action during United’s pre-season tour, beginning with a clash against Leeds United in Stockholm on Saturday, July 19.

Kick-off at the Strawberry Arena is set for 2pm UK time, with fans eager to see new signings in the fresh kit.

The club will then head to the United States for the Premier League Summer Series, facing West Ham in New Jersey (July 26), Bournemouth in Chicago (July 30), and Everton in Atlanta (August 3).

A final pre-season test against Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9 will not only debut the kit in Manchester but also welcome back fan-favourite David de Gea.

The 2025/26 home kit release is part of a wider effort to reinvigorate fan support and signal the beginning of a new era under Amorim’s leadership.
