Celtics Rumors: This Player ‘Most Likely Candidate’ To Be Traded

The Boston Celtics have a handful of pieces they could sell off as they try to shed finances.

Everyone besides Jayson Tatum seems at least potentially available with Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown all included in trade speculation. However, the most likely candidate to be dealt is someone else, Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix believes.

Mannix used that unwanted designation on sharpshooting wing Sam Hauser.

“Hauser, to me, is the most likely candidate to go, just because you have (Baylor) Scheierman there to effectively fill his role,” Mannix said while appearing on NBC Sports Boston on Wednesday. “I think they’d love to find a home for Jrue Holiday, just because of the contract and where they are as a team. (Kristaps) Porzingis, who knows? I don’t think they want to take on contracts that go on longer than Porzingis’ deal, but he’s certainly available.”
