One Man United star is said to not have satisfied at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are already planning to sell him. He is likely to return to Serie A this summer.
The star in question here is Rasmus Hojlund. He is 22 years old Denmark international. He joined United from Atalanta in summer 2023. But, Hojlund has not been able to impress at Old Trafford. He has struggled to score regularly and has caused disappointment.
United are set for a major summer overhaul. They had a very tough season and hence are ready to sell many of their current players. Ruben Amorim wants a new striker and is asking the club for a proven star. This means United will need to spend big on number nine.
Rasmus Hojlund likely to leave Man United
United are ready to sell both Hojlund and Zirkzee. They are eyeing big names like Viktor Gyokeres. Now, Caught Offside have reported that Hojlund too is not keen to stay at United. They report that the 22 year old is not satisfied with his time at Old Trafford.
The report further adds that multiple clubs including Inter Milan are keen to sign him. The UCL runner-ups view the 22 year old as an exciting prospect. The player can be tempted to join them as well as he will be keen to revive his career by going back to Serie A.
However, it is still very early and there has not been any offer made by Inter. In addition, their head coach Simeone Inzaghi has left the club. He has joined Al Hilal who have offered him very high wages. Hence, it will be important to see if new coach of Inter retains their interest in Hojlund.
As for United, they have Gyokeres as a top target. In addition, they are also keeping open eye for Benjamin Sesko. Lastly, they can also opt to sign Jonathan David. The Canadian international is available for free which will be a huge boost financially.
