Everton are looking to do quick business this summer transfer window, with talks already underway for a number of targets.
The Toffees have been linked to Jack Grealish over the last few weeks and the Manchester City winger is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium after four years.
Al-Hillal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is believed to be on David Moyes’ radar as he looks to sign a centre-forward.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to leave Everton, there is a pressing need to get a new frontman in as quickly as possible.
Now, it has just surfaced that Everton could sign a Newcastle United star.

Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff more likely to join Everton than Tomas Soucek
Everton have been tracking Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff for a number of months now.
Longstaff has struggled to get into Newcastle’s stacked midfield and is thought to be available for around £12m this summer.
According to GiveMeSport, Everton are now more likely to pursue a deal for Longstaff rather than their other reported midfielder target Tomas Soucek.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
It had been reported that Moyes was close to bringing Soucek to Everton, but the suggestion is that no approach has been made.
Longstaff appears to be the man they’ve settled on, with the Carabao Cup winner presenting a unique market opportunity given his staggeringly low price tag.
Everton also looking at Mohamed Diomande
It appears as though Everton are looking to add a couple of midfielders to their ranks, having lost Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala.
Everton chiefs recommended Rangers’ Mohamed Diomande to Moyes after his impressive season in Scotland.
The Toffees have learned it will take a big fee to sign Diomande, with Rangers desperate to retain his signature amid Russell Martin’s appointment.
Moyes has also kept tabs on Sunderland’s Chris Rigg, but that may be off the table following their promotion from the Championship.
