ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions waived cornerback Divaad Wilson with an injury designation when announcing the addition of a new offensive lineman.
Wilson was signed earlier this week, so his tenure was a quick one, and now he heads back to the open market with an injury designation. The 25-year-old cornerback previously played for the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants after playing his college ball at Central Florida and Georgia.
The Lions also confirmed the signing of offensive lineman Trystan Colon on the heels of Frank Ragnow’s retirement.

Colon has started 11 games over the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. The 27-year-old has experience all over the interior offensive line, though, with more than 250 career snaps at left guard, right guard and center.
His addition makes a ton of sense with or without Ragnow, as the Lions are entering next year with a ton of youthful inexperience at offensive guard. Graham Glasgow is looking for a bounce-back campaign, and might be the in-house favorite to take over at center.
The Lions are back in Allen Park for their second round of Organized Team Activities this week. After this weekend, they will break for the summer and report earlier than usual for training camp ahead of the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame game to open the preseason in Canton, Ohio against the Los Angeles Chargers.
