The 2025 NBA playoffs have largely belonged to Tyrese Haliburton — and, now, the Indiana Pacers star point guard has his own shoe heading into the Finals.
On Thursday morning, Halliburton’s first signature model, the Puma Hali 1, was officially unveiled on social media ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Salehe Bembury, director of Puma’s basketball division, designed the Hali 1.

Halliburton will lace up his debut signature model, in its lead “Hibiscus” colorway, on court during Game 1 of his first career Finals appearance, though the shoe is not scheduled to hit retail until September.
The unveiling of the Hali 1 arrives less than eight months after Haliburton left Nike to sign a massive multi-year signature shoe deal with Puma in October 2024. The Hali 1 also marks the first signature shoe crafted by renowned footwear creative Salehe Bembury, who joined Puma in July 2024 as the brand’s lead basketball designer.
That means, in less than a year, Puma and Bembury teamed up to deliver a shoe to Haliburton, significantly expediting the footwear industry’s standard 18-24 month process for designing and launching a signature model.
“I’m super excited to announce that I’ve joined the Puma Family,” said Haliburton when he first joined the brand last October. “I look forward to being a part of their commitment to the next generation of basketball. Puma’s vision and dedication to supporting athletes align perfectly with my goals, and I’m excited to represent the brand on and off the court.”

Designed in a low-cut silhouette with lightweight construction, the Puma Hali 1 features the brand’s NITRO performance technology, which is also utilized in the All-Pro Nitro model that Haliburton has headlined on his rise to superstardom through the 2024-25 NBA season and playoffs.
Haliburton teased the upcoming unveiling of his debut shoe after Indiana’s historic comeback win over the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, when he sported a fitted hat subtly featuring his “Hali” signature logo stitched in Puma font.

The Pacers point guard now becomes just the seventh player in basketball history to receive a signature shoe from Puma, joining Clyde Frazier, Ralph Sampson, Vince Carter and the brand’s active signature headliners: WNBA star Breanna Stewart, Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball and Portland Trailblazers point guard Scoot Henderson.
Rocking his debut Hali 1 on court in this year’s Finals, Haliburton will seek to become the first player in over 50 years — since Frazier and his Puma Clyde in 1973 — to win an NBA championship in a Puma signature basketball shoe.
