Manchester United’s academy has produced countless talents over the years.
Some who’ve broken through at Old Trafford, others who’ve taken different routes to thrive elsewhere.
Among that latter group are players who’ve quietly built reputations away from the spotlight.

Some have been carving out key roles in lower-league sides and earning admiration through consistent displays.
One such name continues to attract attention after excelling in League One this season, with a growing list of clubs queuing up for his signature.
Charlie Savage wanted by Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers
According to The Reading Chronicle, Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers are among the most interested in signing Reading’s Charlie Savage, who has enjoyed a standout campaign in Berkshire.
The 22-year-old former Manchester United midfielder racked up 51 appearances last season, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists.
Second-most in the division.
He found form under Noel Hunt and has since become a fan favourite, catching the eye of several clubs further up the footballing pyramid, including Wrexham and Birmingham City.

Savage, the son of ex-Premier League midfielder and TNT Sports co-commentator Robbie Savage, previously played in the Champions League for Manchester United during the 2021/22 season before departing for Reading in 2023.
Despite the interest, the Chronicle notes that Savage is happy at Reading and is not pushing for a move.
Speaking to BBC Berkshire on the final day of the season, he said: “I’ve got two more years here so you’ll be seeing me next season.”
Still under contract, and with Manchester United owed 50% of any future sale, it would take a significant offer to tempt Reading.
Especially given they currently have just five outfield players tied down for the new campaign.
