Everton have every right to be feeling positive after a phenomenal Goodison Park send-off under David Moyes.
The Toffees have been linked with several big-name players as they look to cement their upcoming new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, they do risk losing one of their prized assets as Jarrad Branthwaite has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Given previously touted price tags, the centre-back is unlikely to come cheap for the Champions League outfit.

Branthwaite would cost Tottenham a pretty penny
Branthwaite has long been linked with a move away from Everton since he emerged as a regular starter.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
However, he is yet to move away from the North West, and the Toffees remain in a strong selling position, with two years left on the 22-year-old’s contract.
Football finance expert Dan Plumley has emphasised Everton’s position concerning Tottenham’s pursuit of the defender.
“They absolutely will,” he exclusively told Goodison News when asked if Spurs’ interest would drive up Branthwaite’s price.
“There are two factors in that. One is the Champions League, and the other is the English premium tax that you pay on transfers between those clubs.
“If you look at that situation, it’s highly likely that Everton would look to drive that price up.
“They’re looking now to turn a corner and spend money on players themselves and push forward, whereas they’re not as desperate to sell, certainly not a player of that calibre and the potential he’s got in the future.
“Spurs have just landed the Champions League, which we anticipate will be about a minimum of £70-£80million for an English club now under the new format.
“When you know that’s happening with a club that wants to buy your player, you’re going to ramp the price up because A, you’re selling to a rival, and B, that rival has just landed a windfall.
“If that transfer is even going to get started or happen, then Everton will be looking to drive the price up from day one.”

Everton must not budge in Branthwaite valuation
The Toffees are in an enviable position as they possess one of the best prospects in English football.
It is evident that English players come with substantial price tags, and therefore, Everton hold all the cards.
One factor the Merseyside outfit must consider is Branthwaite’s contract, as he is to enter the final two years of his current deal.
That last thing Everton will want is for the centre-back to run down his contract to the final year, meaning his value would drop.
The Toffees would then need to sell him this window if they want to yield as much money as possible from the 22-year-old.
Whatever Everton decide to do, they are in a strong position, but must not sell him for a reduced price this summer.
