Seth Rollins Names The One Person Who Hates CM Punk More Than Him

What would it take for Seth Rollins to team with CM Punk? Rollins says ‘Da Bears’ couldn’t even bring them together.

Rollins was a guest on Up & Adams on Thursday, and his Chicago Bears fandom was a topic of conversation. One fan-submitted question asked Rollins if he would ever team with CM Punk if it meant a Chicago Bears Super Bowl win.

“Would I do it? Would I do it? Oh God, it makes my stomach churn just to think about it,” Rollins said. “For one Super Bowl? Oh God… I don’t think I could do it, I don’t think I could stand next to him. I really don’t think I could do it, I just don’t think I could it. I’d just suffer in misery every season. Get me to the NFC title game. I don’t think I could do it. I have to say no. Sorry, I couldn’t do it. It hurts me inside too much.”

Seth Rollins: hating CM Punk is a family affair

Adams joked around and told Rollins to envision a mid-February parade in downtown Chicago. Rollins says he feels selfish saying it, but it was more about the fans and the players than him. Rollins continued to decline the tag team “invite” and said it made him want to vomit. Adams pointed out that a little vomit could guarantee a Lombardi trophy in Chicago.

“I would have to go home and look my daughter in the face and tell her that I was a coward, and I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t do that to my daughter, I couldn’t do that to my family. My wife would disown me. I don’t know that I’d ever sleep in the bed again. I’d get kicked to the curb,” he said.

“If there’s one person that hates CM Punk more than me, it’d be ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch. It’s a full family affair,” he continued. “My daughter is into listening to wrestling entrance themes and she won’t listen to CM Punk’s.”
