Manchester United are closing in on their hectic pre-season schedule with Ruben Amorim’s squad taking shape ahead of their 2025-26 season.

United will be aiming to improve on their 15th place finish from last season and push towards the European football places in the Premier League.

Alongside this, the Red Devils will be aiming to gain success in their two domestic trophies – the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.

To improve on their performances, many things must take place.

However, recruitment is central to the United aim to gain success and push the club forward.

To do this, many transfer targets have been reported to be on the club’s radar including Viktor Gyokeres, Bryan Mbuemo alongside others to add to the signing of Matheus Cunha in the late stages of last week.

On the reported target list is Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who has been at the centre of many teams attention including Manchester United and many European sides alongside Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Victor Osimhen Set On Al-Hilal

Today, it has been reported by Give Me Sport that Victor Osimhen has today expressed a desire to join Al-Hilal after being given a deadline of Friday to make a final decision.

However, it has also been reported that he is yet to make a final choice, inform Napoli or finalise the personal terms to allow Osimhen to be happy whilst in Saudi Arabia.

Both clubs have not agreed a fee yet although the Saudi side have formally approached Napoli. Furthermore, with a 75 million euro release clause in his contract at the current Italian champions, Al-Hilal could trigger this clause in his contract if an agreement between the two sides can not be made.

The striker had been a target for Manchester United as the club look to add to their striker base although looks to be on his way to Saudi Arabia in the coming days as Al-Hilal prepare for their FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
