Colts Fans Didn't Hold Back on Anthony Richardson After Latest Update

During his time with the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Anthony Richardson has mostly been known for his inability to stay healthy, as he's missed a total of 17 games due to injuries in just two seasons.

His performance on the field hasn't been all that impressive either, completing 176-of-348 passes for 2,391 yards, 11 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and a 67.8 passer rating with 635 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Due to both of these factors, Richardson has found himself in a positional battle with Daniel Jones, who signed a one-year, $14 million contract with the Colts this past offseason.

However, he may quickly fall behind, because on Thursday, head coach Shane Steichen revealed that he would not participate in the Colts' mini-camp, scheduled from June 10-12, due to a shoulder injury.

It's certainly disappointing news, and for many Colts fans, it's the last straw, with a handful revealing some serious frustration about the situation and that they are ready to give up on Richardson.

"Another offseason training not with the team. I’m done with AR he just can’t do it. So this season is over with Daniel jones hHahaha," said one comment.

"I think it’s over now. Too injury prone," said another.

"Dude is done, so much talent down the drain," a third added.

A fourth stated, "I’m over the AR injury reports. It would be more efficient to release info when he isn’t injured."

"What are the top qbs in the 2026 draft. It’s time!! I had enough of this qb drama every year," a fifth continued.

"It's over. Just trade him for a 6th at this point," said another.

However, unless it's through a trade, the Colts may be holding onto Richardson for a while longer, as he still has two more seasons left on his four-year, $33.9 million rookie contract
