Chelsea star wanted by their former manager

One Chelsea player is wanted by their Premier League rivals. The club is managed by their former manager. The Blues are likely to make the player available in the market.

Chelsea are set for a major summer window. They have already started on high note. The Blues are set to make key changes in their squad. Enzo Maresca will be backed who has already identified areas where he needs new additions.

One of the player who is likely to get moved-on is Robert Sanchez. The Spanish keeper has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge. He has commited multiple errors which have costed the Blues. As a result, they are said to move-on from him.

Chelsea shot-stopper wanted by their Premier League rivals

According to Kaveh Solhekol, Robert Sanchez is wanted by West Ham United. The player used to play under Graham Potter for Brighton. The former Chelsea manager seems keen to reunite with the Spanish shot-stopper.

Solhekol said that the meeting was mainly for Mohammed Kudus. The Blues were offered a chance to sign Kudus to which they have initially said No. But, the West London club is in talks to discuss wheter to add Kudus to their wishlist or not.

Firstly, the Blues are likely to part ways with Robert Sanchez. They are keen to sign Mike Maignan from AC Milan. Hence, the Blues can agree to send him to West Ham who are in need of a new keeper. This will help them to raise funds and agree on a deal with Milan for Maignan.

Lastly, the Blues can consider to sign Kudus too. But, they will surely not want to trigger his £85 million release clause. The player seems like a promising prospect but his release clause can break the deal. If Hammers are ready to sell him on lower fee, it can seem tempting for Chelsea.
