Browns Offensive Triplets Labeled 'Depressing'

If there's a word to describe the Cleveland Browns' offense over the past few years, "depressing" certainly fits the bill.

Cleveland has gone through more starting quarterbacks this century than we've had centuries. And that's prevented the offense from finding any kind of consistent rhythm for quite a while.

This season doesn't offer much reason to be hopeful that that will change. Deshaun Watson's season is in jeopardy after a second Achilles tear in three months, back in January.

SI's Matt Verderame ranked each NFL team's top offensive triplets for 2025, and ... at least the Browns aren't last.

31. Cleveland Browns

Triplets: Joe Flacco, Quinshon Judkins, Jerry Jeudy

"The Browns have one of the most depressing offenses in the league, largely because they have five quarterbacks on the roster, and none are the clear-cut starter. Flacco comes in after having had success in 2023 with Cleveland and now looks to a rookie back in Judkins and a receiving corps led by one main talent in Jeudy."

Don't feel too bad, Browns fans. At least you're not Saints fans.

New Orleans is the only team behind Cleveland in the rankings, offering the trio of Spencer Rattler, Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave.

The No. 1 team on the list is the Browns division rival Baltimore Ravens, featuring Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers. The other two AFC North teams were ranked higher than Cleveland, with the Bengals at No. 4 with Joe Burrow, Chase Brown and Ja'Marr Chase, and the Steelers at No. 28 with Mason Rudolph, Jaylen Warren and DK Metcalf.

The Browns are fresh off an abysmal 3-14 season and are hoping to regroup with one of four possible starting quarterbacks under center, and it might not be Flacco.

Other possibilities are veteran Kenny Pickett or one of two rookies in Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
