Newcastle United will be keeping a close eye on FC Copenhagen and their 19-year-old talent Roony Bardghji following an update by Fabrizio Romano.
The Magpies have been keeping tabs on the Swedish wunderkind for a while now, and while an ACL injury hindered his progress for a while, we doubt that's stopped Newcastle from tracking the talented forward.
Indeed, Bardghji and Callum Wilson were pictured together in Dubai as the duo were working on their rehabilitation, so we're pretty sure Bardghji will be fairly well informed about life at Newcastle.
It seems now that Newcastle could acquire the 19-year-old for free at the turn of the year as his contract looks set to expire at FC Copenhagen, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Roony Bardghji's contract is due to expire at the end of 2025
As reported by the Italian journalist, a deal doesn't seem likely to be done between Bardghji and Copenhagen.
"Roony Bardghji has not agreed on new deal at FC Copenhagen and many clubs are interested in the Swedish talent, as @bolddk reports.
"He’s not expected to sign new contract at the club."

Newcastle should offer a token fee to Copenhagen this summer to get the jump on other clubs
Our question is, would it be worth a cheeky summer bid by Newcastle to get an early jump on the move? If every club that is tracking the right winger is willing to wait until January to pick him up for free, perhaps offering a token fee to Copenhagen could get the move done this summer.
Newcastle need a right-winger, and while there may still be question marks over whether Roony Bardghji is ready for the first team, he shouldn't cost too much to bring in, and at least we'd have a winger for the future.
While we're not sure whether Roony Bardghji would head straight into the first team, we could pick up his brother, Onion, who would definitely be a starter. (Yes, I've done that joke before, but it was a long time ago, and it was worth making again.)
