According to Kaveh Solhekol, Chelsea are pushing to sign a new keeper before the start of Club World Cup. He added that Maignan has told AC Milan that he wants to join the Blues. He has rejected to sign a new contract and his current contract expires next summer.
Milan will not like to lose Maignan for free next summer. Hence, they are most likely to allow the Frenchman to leave. The Blues are currently not matching with the demanded fee from AC Milan. This is the reason behind a deal not progressing right now but it can change very soon.
