Aaron Rodgers Isn't Retiring, Planning to Sign with Pittsburgh Steelers for 2025-2026 Season
It’s official: Aaron Rodgers is NOT retiring from the NFL just yet…he is planning to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers to be their next quarterback.
NFL.com is reporting that the 41-year-old QB will be flying to them on Friday (June 6) to sign the contract in time for next week’s mini-camp.
Steelers’ mini-camp takes place next week from Tuesday to Thursday, and he’ll apparently be signed and in attendance for it during their off-season program.
It was unclear if Aaron would end up retiring or signing with a team in free agency. He last played for the New York Jets but it was a disappointing two years for both sides as Rodgers got hurt and year 2 had more losses than wins.
The Steelers were in need of a quarterback, so this fills the void.
