Mohammed Kudus is set to leave West Ham this summer.
The attacker has struggled to meet the same levels as before in his second season with the Hammers, and after a poor season, an exit is on the cards.
Furthermore, as David Sullivan has PSR restrictions to think about before being able to reinvest in Graham Potter’s squad, the Irons are seemingly keen to cash in too.
However, West Ham may have to be prepared to take less money than initially hoped to strike a deal.

Kudus turns down bid to leave West Ham
Kudus has a £85million release clause at the London Stadium, although that only comes into effect in July, meaning the Hammers would have to hold off for longer to get the full amount.

However, interest in the 24-year-old has already ramped up, and Chelsea are interested in gaining his services in time for the Club World Cup, which would reduce the fee they have to pay.
The Irons were looking to get around this by cutting a mutually beneficial deal, having asked about the availability of Robert Sanchez with the possibility of a deal on the table.
Although it has since been reported that West Ham turned down a cash plus player offer that was put on the table by Chelsea.
It’s not just West Ham turning down bids, though, with Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol reporting that Kudus has also said no to an offer on the table.
It is said that, despite having the chance to more than treble his salary with a move to Saudi Arabia, the Ghanaian turned down the opportunity as he does not want to move there.
Instead, his ambitions are set higher and Kudus is hoping to go to another Premier League club, with his sights set on Champions League football.
The Saudi deal being turned down will be a blow to the Hammers, though, as a Saudi Pro League club were willing to pay close to £70million.
West Ham must play Kudus transfer right
Although West Ham do want to cash in on Kudus this summer, Sullivan has to be strong and not be willing to drop his valuation further than the Hammers can afford.

2023/24 33 8 9
Kudus did not reach the same levels this season.
Having initially paid a fee of £38million, doubling their return is said to be what the Irons are looking at when it comes to a valuation right now, and this early on, it’s worth sticking to that.
West Ham have to have the money to invest this summer, so they cannot sell themselves short on any deal that will aid that.
