According to Forbes’ Evan Sidery, the Knicks' trade package for Durant likely would have included key contributors OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson, along with an additional veteran contract to match Durant’s salary.
Anunoby and Robinson’s combined salaries totaled $50.9 million this season, nearly matching Durant’s $51.1 million.
Despite being in his 17th NBA season, Durant remained one of the league’s elite scorers, averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Anunoby and Robinson played vital roles in the Knicks’ deep playoff run, particularly on the defensive end.
Anunoby averaged 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.0 steals across 18 playoff games, while Robinson contributed 4.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game in a bench role for the Knicks.
