It's hard not to reminisce about the first Thunder Finals appearance back in 2012, when the first OKC youth movement appeared poised to return to the championship round for years to come. We know better than to assume things will play out as we expect, even though this version of the Thunder appears set up much better for the seasons ahead. Whether heartbreak, disappointment, or triumph lies ahead for OKC fans currently thrilled about the future, a title in the year 2025 is what we want most. Hopefully, as Lu Dort penned in a letter to said fans, "something special" is happening now, not later.
