Many may argue that the Los Angeles Lakers failed in the 2024-25 season after pairing LeBron James and Luka Doncic. The team earned the No. 3 seed in the West, but fell in five games to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.
With the Lakers eliminated, LeBron’s son, Bronny James, saw his rookie season come to an end as well. The former USC guard had limited playing time, appearing in 27 regular-season games for the Lakers. He averaged 2.3 points on 31.3% shooting, along with 0.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 6.7 minutes per game.
A day before Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers, Bronny made a rare public appearance at Target with his girlfriend, Parker Whitfield.
A passerby captured Bronny and Whitfield about to walk into the exit door at a retail store, but they realized their mistake and shifted toward the entrance.
NBA fans took notice of the couple's near mistake and offered their thoughts in the comment section.
"They way he almost entered through an exit was so tough ð¥ð¥ð¥," one fan joked.
"Of course he shops at target with his Kobe wifeð," wrote a second.
"Every time i go to target i accidentally go through the exit ð," claimed a third.
"can't help but blush with delight! ð," said a fourth.
"He almost went into the exitð," added another.
"Missed the wide open door. Seems on brand," posted a sixth.

Although Bronny didn't have much success in NBA play, he did for Los Angeles' G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. In 18 games, including the regular season and the Tip-Off Tournament, he averaged 18.6 points on 41.5% shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
Meanwhile, the Lakers may have secured their future with the addition of Doncic, who could play with a James following LeBron's retirement.
