During an interview today on Up & Adams, Seth Rollins was asked to name a “nightmare team” of WWE stars that he’d like to see get crushed by a dream team of Chicago Bears players. In other words, who are his “most hated people of all-time,” or people “I want to see get hurt”?
Rollins didn’t hesitate to say CM Punk’s name first. Earlier in the interview, Seth called CM a “bad dude” who is “not good for what we do” in WWE and doesn’t deserve to be in the same wind space as him. He’d love to see Punk get squashed by Refrigerator Perry.
Rollins named Rick “The Model” Martel next, stemming from his days of spraying Arrogance around like a despicable asshole in WWF in the early 1990’s. He’s the wrestler Seth hated most as a child.
Finally, Seth added Hulk Hogan’s name to the list, but he wouldn’t tell host Kay Adams why that is:
Rollins: “This one may be controversial, but...we also want somebody that we want to see get crushed in the ring. That’s gonna be Hulk Hogan.”
Adams: “Why are you saying that? I’m a little confused.”
Rollins: “You can look it up. You’ll figure it out. Yeah, we’d love to see Hulk Hogan just get kicked around a little bit by these boys. That’d be nice.”
Adams: “You don’t like Hulk Hogan?”
Rollins: “Ah, complicated relationship there with The Hulkster.”
Adams: “Can I have it in one sentence?”
Rollins: “Nope, you cannot. That is tricky. You’re gonna have to Google that one...I think you can probably figure it out pretty easily, to be fair. It’s not that tricky.”
Adams: “He’s a bad guy, and you’re a good guy?”
Rollins: “Hollywood Hulk Hogan, not a good guy. Terry Bollea, also not the best guy.”
Adams: “I’m sensing, my spider sense, which is also my gimmick, my intuition, is saying...”
Rollins: “Don’t worry, I’m doing you a favor right now. This will go viral just for you.”
Yeah, it’s really not hard at all to figure out.
What do you think about Seth Rollins grouping CM Punk and Hulk Hogan together like this, Cagesiders?
