The Pittsburgh Steelers now have their answer at quarterback, and that answer is none other than former Green Bay Packers and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
A legendary Packer, Rodgers will look to make his mark in the Steel City in what is likely to be the final chapter of a storied career.
Aaron Rodgers Made His Name with the Packers
While Rodgers is reportedly intent on signing a one-year deal with the team, nothing will ever surpass his legendary career in Green Bay.
Before spending two difficult seasons with the New York Jets over the last couple of years, he spent the previous 18 with the Packers.

In those 18 seasons, he proved that he was arguably the greatest quarterback to play the game on any given Sunday, Monday, or Thursday.
The California native won four MVPs, made 10 Pro Bowls, and is the NFL’s all-time leader in career passer rating (102.6) and career touchdown-to-interception ratio (4.3-1).
Of course, he led the Packers to the mountaintop in 2010 by helping them win Super Bowl XLV over, of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
What to Expect From Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh
At 41 years of age and coming off a difficult stretch with the Jets, some might think that Rodgers is done playing good football.
But what if he was just getting his legs back under him last season after tearing his Achilles at the start of 2023?
Last season, Rodgers started all 17 games, battled through injuries, and ended up throwing for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
He also posted a solid passer rating of 90.5, which isn’t too bad for a player on a team that has struggled to find good quarterback play over the years.
Now, he heads to a better organization in Pittsburgh, where the head coach will likely be in the Hall of Fame one day, and the defense is one of the best in the NFL.

If Rodgers can establish a strong connection with players such as wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, look for the future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback to show shades of his old Green Bay self for what could be one final time.
