In pursuit of the franchise’s next Super Bowl crown, Green Bay Packers players are doing everything they can to try to make sure that they are on their game for the 2025 season.
In doing so, some players have even gathered at each other’s houses to build team chemistry and bond with one another.
Kenny Clark Hosts Film Study Sessions
While speaking with the media this week, Packers three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark chatted about how he and some of his younger teammates have built chemistry in recent months, even going back to last season.
Here is what he had to say about his strategy of hosting players at his house for film sessions (via insider Wes Hodkiewicz):
“We’re together all the time, so why not (host teammates)? We’re going to watch film and get better. Get better while we’re hanging out.”
Last year, Kenny Clark made a habit of getting the Packers’ D-line together at his home to build chemistry.
Now, he’s taking things to another level w/ film study on weekends.

This is exactly the type of move that experienced players on a younger team should be making, especially on a team that is capable of winning a Super Bowl.
Kenny Clark and Co. Look to Improve the Trenches
Clark, who is going to turn 30 this season, is the team’s longest tenured player, seeing as he is going into his 10th year with the organization.
But coming off of his worst season since his rookie year in 2016, the former UCLA Bruin is looking to respond in a big way.
He is also looking to help bring his teammates along for the ride, even after the defense was one of the better overall units in the league.
Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley guided this defense to No. 6 overall in terms of total defense (315.6 yards allowed per game).
However, even though the team recorded 45 total sacks on the season, the defense had an eight-sack game against the Tennessee Titans and a seven-sack game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Without those two explosive games from the defensive line, Green Bay’s pass rush would look a lot worse from a statistical point of view.
This year, it will be up to veterans like Clark (one sack in 2024) and edge-rusher Rashan Gary (7.5 sacks in 2024), who underperformed last season, to help improve the trenches.
