Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs has left the club in a shake-up of the leadership structure.
Hobbs departs after ten years at Molineux, in which he has worked in a number of roles, including chief scout and head of recruitment.
A club statement read: “Matt Hobbs has left the club by mutual consent as part of a wider restructure of the football department.
“Hobbs, who joined Wolves in 2015, has spent the past decade working across a number of key football roles at the club.
“The club extends its sincere thanks to Matt for his contributions throughout his time at Wolves and wishes him the very best for the future. Further updates on the new football leadership structure will follow.”
Wolves are reportedly set for talks with someone familiar to manager Vitor Pereira in the shape of former Sampdoria technical director Domenico Teti after they worked together for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Shabab last year.
Meanwhile, Wolves skipper Nelson Semedo will be playing in the Nations League final on Sunday after helping Portugal come from behind to beat Germany in their semi-final.
Semedo is out of contract this summer but the club would like him to stay, as would the supporters.
For now, though, his sights are set on winning a trophy for his country.
Semedo came on after 58 minutes with his side 1-0 down to a Florian Wirtz header, but Portugal hit back with goals from Francisco Conceicao and Cristiano Ronaldo.
