The Philadelphia Eagles are starting their preparation for their upcoming Super Bowl title defense in the 2025 NFL season. They are still considered among the elites in the league, and with big targets on their back, there is additional motivation forAJ Brownand company to get even better.
Improvement is a big key even for a deep and talented team like Philadelphia, which won 14 games and topped the NFC East division.

Brown should once again be among the top guys in the coming season for the Eagles.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Brown pledged his dedication to doing more work, while referencing an old quote from NBA superstar Kevin Durant that read: “Are u doing this work to facilitate growth or to be famous?”
Brown’s post read: “Growth. Trying to please the one who gave me the gift👆🏾.”

In the 2024 NFL season, Brown, who was a second-round pick by the Tennessee Titans back in the 2019 NFL draft, had 1,079 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 67 receptions and 97 targets through 13 games. In the playoffs, though, he only had 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 12 catches and 23 targets.
Together with DeVonta Smith, Brown forms one of the best downfield tandems in the NFL. They complement each other while helping stretch opposing defenses further for more space for theEagles’ ground attack. It will be another challenge for Brown and Smith to overcome opponents again in 2025, but they seem to have what it takes to succeed. Last season, the Eagles were fifth in the NFL with an average of 20.0 points per game.
