Wolves wing-back Rayan Ait-Nouri is closing in on his lucrative move to Manchester City, and now some contract details have emerged.
After developing into one of the Premier League’s best wing-backs, Ait-Nouri has garnered attention from some of England’s biggest clubs.
The 24-year-old scored and assisted more goals than any defender in the competition last term, and as a result, Manchester City swooped for Ait-Nouri.
The Algerian was quickly placed at the top of Pep Guardiola’s list of priorities after watching him shine, and on Thursday, it was revealed Ait-Nouri was set for his Man City medical this weekend.
Now, with his move edging ever closer, some contract details on the Wolves ace have emerged.

Rayan Ait-Nouri will sign a five-year contract at Manchester City
Wolves were annoyed at the reported fee received for Ait-Nouri, as it was initially thought that he was leaving for £33.7 million.
But after some members of Ait-Nouri’s entourage were pictured crying once his transfer to the Etihad was sealed, it was revealed that City are paying north of £40 million for the defender with add-ons included.

That will keep him at the club until 2030 and no doubt see him earn massive wages compared to what he was on at Wolves.
So, with a medical booked and contract details finalised, it’s only a matter of time before he is officially announced as a City player.
Ait-Nouri’s role at Man City will be interesting
Full-backs and wing-backs have evolved during Guardiola’s time at Man City. The Spaniard once used Oleksandr Zinchenko as an inverted full-back, which meant he came inside and overloaded the midfield.
Zinchenko’s role emphasised his creativity more than his attacking talents, whereas Josko Gvardiol has been used as a goal-scoring full-back, someone capable of joining attacks and finishing chances.

157 appearances
12 goals
19 assists
With Gvardiol expected to return to centre-back and Ait-Nouri taking his role on the left, the Algerian will surely be given licence to spread the pitch as much as possible and drive forward at speed.
Ait-Nouri is at his best on the counter-attack, utilising his searing pace and fleet-footed dribbling to dance past defenders and fashion chances.
He will give Guardiola and Man City an added dimension in attacking areas, with the Wolves star set to go from strength to strength.
