Bruce Springsteen performed his first mind-blowing concert at Anfield stadium on Wednesday (June 4), drawing in large crowds - including famous faces.
The world-famous ‘Born To Run’ star performed at the home of Liverpool FC alongside The E Street Band, showcasing a selection of timeless hits from a vast back catalogue, as well as new material and a nod to the Beatles with Twist and Shout.

Among the crowd was Liverpool comedian John Bishop who took to Instagram to rave about the gig. Sharing photos and clips from Wednesday’s concert, Bishop said: “Literally the best gig I have ever been to.”
Fans agreed in the comedian’s comments section, with one saying: “No one else comes close. I’m not religious but this is my ‘church’. There is a reason we call him The Boss.”
