Ethan Nwaneri has been named in the England under-21s squad for the upcoming UEFA U21 Euro finals in Slovakia.
Lee Carsley’s Young Lions are aiming to defend the title, which they last won in Georgia in 2023.
England will begin their campaign in the group stage against Czechia on Thursday, June 12 (8pm BST) before they face Slovenia three days later on Sunday, June 15 (5pm BST).
Their final group game against Germany will take place on Wednesday, June 18 (8pm BST), before the competition heads into the knockout phase with the top two teams from both groups progressing to the quarter-finals.
Our Hale End Academy graduate has made two appearances for his country at under-21s level after his debut in March. He scored in his second appearance, a 4-2 win over Portugal.
