The Indiana Pacers struck an early blow to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, taking Game 1 of their NBA Finals series, 111-110, on another Tyrese Haliburton late dagger. His late game-winner sets the stage for Game 2, which is scheduled for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center.
Tickets are still available to watch live as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company look to salvage a split on their home floor. Gilgeous-Alexander went for 38 points on 14-of-29 shooting in Game 1 before the Pacers completed a fourth-quarter comeback. Haliburton hit a long jumper with the Pacers trailing 110-109 in the final seconds and finished his night with an efficient 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

The Pacers opened their fourth straight playoff series with a win, the past three of which have come on their opponents’ home floor. The Thunder also fell at home to the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals before taking Game 2 and ultimately winning the series in seven games.
