Chelsea among teams enquiring after Mohammed Kudus at West Ham — reports

Chelsea are keeping plenty busy in the transfer window, but that’s never enough for the rumor mill. Gotta keep that wheel turning and churning!

One of the latest morsels is a supposed enquiry we have made about Mohammed Kudus at West Ham United. This was firmly in the realm of speculation at the start of the this week, but the likes of the BBC and the Evening Standard have reported it now as well, so it’s not nothing.

Of course that doesn’t mean it’s actually something, as it would appear we’re just one of several teams making general overtures, just in case there’s a rebuild project happening for Graham Potter’s Hammers.

While Kudus is said to be “open to leaving [...] particularly” to a club in the Champions League, West Ham would surely want something at least to the full “up to €120m for clubs in Saudi Arabia” that is apparently the release clause in the 24-year-old’s contract.

The time to get Kudus was a couple years ago, just as we had attempted ... before dropping the ball inexplicably.
