Following a record-breaking campaign for Nottingham Forest, we’re looking back across the season, reliving key moments, memorable matches and stunning strikes from across the 2024/25 campaign.
Forest responded in the best possible way to a first defeat of the campaign, maintaining an unbeaten run across our next three Premier League fixtures in October.
First up was a trip to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea ready in waiting.
After Cole Palmer’s first half effort struck a post, it was Forest who opened the scoring just four minutes into the second period and Chris Wood had his fourth goal of the season.
Nikola Milenković flicked the ball into the New Zealand forward’s path and the Reds’ no. 11 did the rest, prodding the ball into the Blues’ net to send the visiting supporters wild.

Noni Madueke brought the home side level eight minutes later with a low drive to bring an end to the scoring, but not the drama…
Former loanee James Ward-Prowse was dismissed, but both sides had chances to claim maximum spoils with Matz Sels producing outstanding stops from Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.
However, despite the numerical disadvantage, Nuno Espírito Santo’s charges had chances of their own with Neco Williams and Jota both denied by flying saves from Robert Sánchez.
After the international break, Forest welcomed Crystal Palace to the City Ground.
The Reds dominated the opening 45, with Elliot Anderson and Wood both going close to the opening goal, and Ryan Yates striking the post.

Eberechi Eze’s long-range free-kick was flicked onto the crossbar by Sels before Wood was on the scoresheet once more.
His first time effort from the edge of the box trickled beyond Dean Henderson for the only goal of the game and his fifth goal of the campaign.
The Reds rounded off the month with a short trip down the M1 to Leicester to face Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
Yates’ low drive from range on 16 minutes put Forest ahead for the captain’s first goal of the season.
Seven minutes later, Jamie Vardy brought the home side level with the scoreline remaining unchanged going into the second period, during which, Forest would secure the three points.

Two minutes into the second 45 and Wood netted his sixth Premier League goal of the season with a fine turn and shot from just inside the Leicester box before reacting quickest to a mix-up in the Foxes’ rearguard to head home the Reds’ third of the evening, either side of Callum Hudson-Odoi striking the post.
An unbeaten October for Nuno’s side as the Reds really began to heat up in the winter months.
