With the 2024-25 season coming to a close, we are now intoour season review series.
As part of our big season preview every year, the Royal Blue Mersey crew makes our predictions for the upcoming season, as well as trying to foretell where Everton will end up in the league and in the two cup competitions as well.
For the 2024/25 season, we all looked at -

After getting off to an epically bad start in Goodison Park’s final ever season under Sean Dyche, Everton sacked the manager to replace him with former boss David Moyes. Many naysayers had foretold that this move would blow up in Everton’s faces, but the new owners Friedkin Group pulled off a masterstroke as the Toffees ended the season on a solid run of form comparable to a Europe-chasing team.

In third place, we had a three-way tie between Brian L, Pat & Peter all with three points apiece. Tied for second are Tom & John with four points each. And ahead in front is yours truly Calvin with eight points, primarily from picking Everton’s PL finish and the bottom three accurately!
