Tottenham could look to Everton to find a replacement for Cristian Romero.
The Lilywhites could be set for a busy summer after winning the Europa League, as Ange Postecoglou’s future hangs in the balance.
Regardless of the Australians’ future, Spurs will be keen to add to their squad ready for the new Premier League campaign.
This could see them make a swoop on Merseyside to steal a player from David Moyes ahead of his first full season with the Toffees.

Tottenham eye Romero alternative at Everton
There have been a number of mixed reviews about the Argentina international throughout his time in North London due to his erratic nature.

This doesn’t necessarily take away from his ability and arguably makes the 27-year-old a unique asset at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As a result, it is little surprise to see the defender be linked with a move away from the Lilywhites with the transfer window coming up.
This has seen the Daily Mail report (6 June, page 71) that Atletico Madrid are expected to bid for Romero at some point in the summer.
With that in mind, Spurs are said to be considering an offer for Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton after yet another positive campaign in L4.

Branthwaite could depart Everton in Tottenham switch
It would certainly prove to be a blow if the 22-year-old were to depart Goodison before the new season kicks off at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The England international has been one of the most consistent and important players after becoming a regular under Sean Dyche.
This has seen Branthwaite form a superb partnership with James Tarkowski in the backline on the blue side of Merseyside.

As a result, parting ways with the defender could be devastating, as he could be near impossible to replace given his quality and young age.
This could lead to a busy window for Moyes as he looks to build a backline ready to continue the excellent run of form in the Premier League.
