Rita Ora Shares New Single Heat Ahead Of World Pride Music Festival Performance

Rita Ora has dropped a new single, Heat.

Produced by Peter Thomas, known for his work with artists like P!nk and Selena Gomez, and co-written by Thomas alongside Leland, Michael Matosic, and Troye Sivan, the sunny, disco-infused track celebrates confidence and self-expression.

Arriving on the same day Ora performs at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, D.C, the singer previously performed the track to fans in Miami while supporting Kylie on the US leg of her Tension Tour. Ora explained:

"Dropping Heat on the same day as my World Pride performance feels like the perfect way to kick off summer — it’s such a special moment for me and for my fans who have supported me over the years. I’m obsessed with this track, and honestly, I just wanted to have fun with it! It’s bold, cheeky, and totally drenched in golden, feel-good energy. For me, it’s all about celebrating freedom, joy, being unapologetically yourself and owning who you are!"

Head below to view the song's accompanying Justin Daashuur Hopkins-directed video, shot on Miami Beach, which premieres at 6pm BST today (June 6).

Ora will play Capital’s Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium on June 15. Tickets are on sale now.

She released her latest album, and third overall, 'You & I', in 2023.
