Aston Villa could be set to make a surprise move for Fenerbahce star Youssef En-Nesyri as they look to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of next season - with reports from Turkey suggesting that the Villans are 'readying' a bid in the coming days for the Morocco international.
En-Nesyri made 52 appearances for Fenerbahce this season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions as they finished second in the Super Lig under Jose Mourinho, before being dumped out of the domestic cup by rivals Galatasaray and the Europa League last 16 by Rangers on penalties - and that could see him depart for pastures new.

The report by Milliyet, via SportWitness, claims that Villa have stepped up their pursuit of En-Nesyri after the Morocco international was linked with a move to the West Midlands earlier in the transfer window.

The Villans are aiming to strengthen their attack ahead of next season after seeing Jhon Duran depart for the Saudi Pro League in January, as well as Marcus Rashford turn down the opportunity to move back to Villa Park after their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
And that, according to Milliyet, means that Villa could be 'ready' to table an offer for the former Sevilla star. A bid could be sent in the coming days, with En-Nesyri looking to leave Fenerbahce this summer - though the size of the offer being prepared by director Monchi remains to be seen.
Despite his high goal tally for Fenerbahce, En-Nesyri came under criticism from fans, and he's looking to leave with the Premier League potentially being on his radar as his next move.
The 'incredible' Moroccan star began his career at Malaga, before a move to Madrid-based side Leganes - and after just 18 months of impressing in the capital, he joined Sevilla, where he spent four-and-a-half years in Andalusia before heading to Turkey.
69 La Liga goals in just 230 games showed his talents in the Spanish top-flight, and alongside Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers, he could be an inspired signing for Villa as they look to contend with their own Europa League run after finishing sixth in the Premier League.
