Liverpool are set to agree a record-breaking deal to sign goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are expecting a busy summer transfer window after claiming their second Premier League title in five years under Arne Slot, and the club are now set to agree their second signing of the window.
Jeremie Frimpong has already joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen, but after Caoimhin Kelleher left Anfield to join Brentford on a permanent deal they have now moved to replace him with the young Puskas Akademia star.

The 20-year-old Pecsi has already said yes to the Liverpool project and now a deal is relying on the final club-to-club details being ironed out, with all details on the player's side of the deal already sorted.
Pecsi is set to join the club as the third-choice goalkeeper now, with Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili set to compete for the number one shirt in the 2025/26 season after the Georgian's arrival from Valencia.
Alisson has been the number one at the club since his stunning move from Roma back in 2018, and he has won two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy as well as domestic cups. But he has been linked with a move away to Saudi Arabia in recent seasons, leaving Liverpool to plan for the future without him.
The 20-year-old was a regular for the Hungarian side in the 2024/25 season, making 36 appearances in all competitions, with only 43 goals conceded and 11 clean sheets kept.
Liverpool are also closing in on a record-breaking transfer to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz to bolster the attack, while there is also hope they can complete a deal for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez in the coming days.
