Federico Chiesa believes that AC Milan will aim for the Scudetto under Massimiliano Allegri, amid reports he is a transfer target.
Last summer, Chiesa secured a rather surprising move to Liverpool after his relationship with Juventus broke down. He claimed a Premier League winner’s medal in his debut campaign, which is certainly a positive.
However, he did not play much under Arne Slot in what was a difficult first year in England personally. This has led to suggestions that a return to Italy could be on the cards for the winger, and Milan are among the sides to have been linked.
Chiesa comments again
Chiesa gave an interview from the Italy camp to Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) that was published this morning, and he was asked about his future. It comes days after he winked at Milan in a discussion with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In these months you have been linked to half of Serie A, even Napoli. Have you ever heard from Conte?
“Never, Antonio never. I read that they placed me everywhere, but I had no direct contact with anyone. Just a congratulatory message from Max at the beginning.
“He is great, in addition to having changed my position he made me understand the difference between a top club coach and one of an average club. Charisma, management, sensitivity and techniques that you don’t learn at Coverciano, so I steal his joke.
“Antonio, Ancelotti, Spalletti are like him. Max is someone who gives you a lot, with Milan he will immediately aim for the Scudetto… In January last year we were convinced we could do it, the group was very solid, enthusiastic, all united. The second half was bad even if we made up for it in the cup.”
