Director speaks to intermediaries for Chelsea player–Contact also made for Nottingham Forest star

Some days ago, Napoli were said to be keen on a move for Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and they are now also pursuing a move for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke.

The information comes from NapoliNetwork, who were confident that the newly crowned Italian champions were willing to make an offer to bring the Tricky Trees winger to Naples.

They now claim there’s been initial contact between Nottingham Forest and Napoli regarding a move for Hudson-Odoi but the Partenopei sporting director Giovanni Manna has other plans up his sleeve as well.

The idea of signing Chelsea’s Madueke has also been explored. The Italian was in London this week and during the trip, contact was made with intermediaries regarding the Blues star.

Napoli are evaluating the move because the 23-year-old’s current wage demands are seen as rather affordable.

He currently earns around €3m per season at Chelsea and the Italian giants will have no problems paying him that amount. Similar applies to Nottingham Forest’s Hudson-Odoi, whose salary demands fall within the Naples club’s scale.
