Tyrese Haliburton’s shot is the latest last-second shot to decide an NBA Finals game since Michael Jordan’s iconic game-winner for the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 of the 1997 Finals

Not only did the Pacers erase a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter, becoming only the third team since 1971 to pull off such a comeback in the Finals, they also capped it off with a last-second game-winner by Tyrese Haliburton.
According to ESPN’s research, Haliburton’s shot is the latest buzzer-beater to decide an NBA Finals game since Michael Jordan’s iconic game-winner for the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 of the 1997 Finals against the Utah Jazz.
Since then, no Finals game has ended on a last-second game-winner that left virtually no time for a response.
With the Pacers stealing home-court advantage, the Thunder will need to do everything in their power to even the series when Game 2 tips off Sunday in Oklahoma City.
