West Ham aren’t waiting around to make moves in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers had a hugely disappointing campaign last time around after failing to recover after a terrible start under Julen Lopetegui.

As a result, Graham Potter will be keen to rejuvenate and build his squad, ready to fit in with his tactical approach in East London.

This could see the summer kick off in ideal fashion with talks already kicking off over a potential double deal at the London Stadium.

West Ham in running for double deal

It is fair to say that the Irons will be in desperate need of reinforcements to help aid them in the challenge of rising up the Premier League table.

This could result in a number of potential sales in E20, with the likes of Niclas Fullkrug already strongly linked with an exit less than 12 months after signing.

A more regular starter could be set to follow the Germany international out the door, with Mohammed Kudus potentially on his way out.

The Mail Online reported on 6 June that the Ghana international wants to go with the Hammers also keen on a sale to bring in a susbstantial fee to fund further deals.

There has already been contact from Chelsea over a deal without a deal being tabled as it stands, although so-called “verbal bids” have been mooted at Stamford Bridge.

The potential of a swap deal has also been discussed by the Blues with Potter’s side asking about the situations of Robert Sanchez and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

West Ham want Sanchez and Dewsbury-Hall

The Irons are in desperate need of a new keeper after the departure of Lukasz Fabianski, although Chelsea’s Spaniard may not represent the best option.

This has seen the 27-year-old come under pressure throughout the season after a number of errors and lapses in concentration.

Although it hasn’t been the greatest of seasons for the shot-stopper, at least he has been playing regularly, unlike teammate Dewsbury-Hall.

The Englishman certainly has quality which could make him a useful addition alongside the likes of Tomas Soucek, his lack of gametime could represent a risk.

With this duo potentially set to come in as a replacement for Kudus, the Hammers need to be careful before rushing into that sort of decision.
