The West Ham world is in mourning today following the news that Lady Hilkka Brooking has passed away following a short illness.
Lady Hilkka, the beloved wife of West Ham United legend Sir Trevor and mother to the couple's two children Collette and Warren was married to the former Irons and England star for 55 years.

The former Finnish au pair married Brooking in June 1970 and the couple have been inseparable ever since, regularly appearing at events together while always side by side at West Ham United home matches.
The news was confirmed in a short statement released by Trevor on behalf of the family.
"I want to thank people for their kind messages and thoughts," said Sir Trevor. "Hilkka loved coming to West Ham United matches and always wanted the club to do well."
The condolences of everyone at KUMB go to Trevor, Collette and Warren.
