Arsenal informed about release clause of Chelsea star

Arsenal have signed multiple Chelsea stars in the recent seasons. They are now informed about the release clause of another star. The player was away from Stamford Bridge and had a very good season on loan.

Arsenal have signed players like Kai Havertz, Jorginho, Raheem Sterling and more from Chelsea in recent years. Some have played a big roler for them whereas some failed to make an impact. Gunners need filling in some positions and one Blues star can do that.

The North London giants are keen to sign a new goalkeeper. They want him to serve as backup for David Raya. Aaron Ramsdale left the club last summer creating an opening in that position. Hence, it is one of the top priority for Mikel Arteta.

Firstly, Gunners wanted Joan Garcia last summer. But, they were unable to find success in the pursuit. They signed Neto on loan who is now said to leave the club. Hence, the club will once again try to sign Joan Garcia this summer.

However, Gunners are finding it hard to sign Joan Garcia. The Spaniard is top priority of Barcelona who are believed to have convinced him. Hence, Gunners need to look at other stars. As of now, they have been linked with Chelsea star.

Arsenal offered chance to sign Chelsea keeper

The star in question here is Kepa. The 30 year old is fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. He has spent both of the last two seasons away on loan. He had a good season recently with Bournemouth and is now said to finally leave Chelsea on permanent basis.

Fabrizio Romano has shared a key update about Kepa which he received from Sky Sports. According to him, Gunners are informed about the £5 million release clause of Kepa. This can be tempting for Arsenal who need a backup keeper.

Kepa can be a very good addition to the Arsenal squad. He has vast experience of playing at the top level. In addition, he will cost only £5 million which can be seen by Gunners as bargain. The player made 97 saves in Premier League this season with an 71.3% save percentage.
