The noise about Dusan Vlahovic potentially leaving Juventus for rivals AC Milan is growing in volume, but it will be a very difficult coup.
Calciomercato.com report that Milan are among the most active teams in the first portion of the summer. The new sporting director Igli Tare is working seven days a week to build a competitive squad in the shortest time possible according to the ideas of Massimiliano Allegri.
In the meetings that have taken place over the last few days, the need to focus decisively on a striker who can score double-digits guaranteed in Serie A emerged, a forward on which to build title ambitions.
Vlahovic: A concrete idea
Tare and Allegri are in full agreement on the right name to strengthen the attack: Vlahovic, who will leave Juventus. Despite the misunderstandings of the last few months at Juve last season, the Serb remains one of the coach’s obsessions.
In fact, Allegri has expressly asked his directors to try to test the waters with the Old Lady. The two clubs have been in contact for days regarding the Andrea Cambiaso issue and will soon extend the discussion to the former Fiorentina man.

In principle, Juventus would not want to strengthen a direct rival in the league, but Vlahovic deserves a separate discussion. The negotiations over the renewal of his contract – expiring in 2026 – have officially fallen through and for the player there are no alternatives to a sale.
At this moment, the Bianconeri have not received any concrete proposals for Vlahovic, so the Milan option cannot be ruled out. The main issue is the €12m net per season, but the Rossoneri plan to offer a five-year contract at €7m net (plus generous bonuses) per season.
In the last few hours, the candidacy of Mateo Retegui has emerged. The Atalanta striker is an old target for Geoffrey Moncada, who could have bought him from Tigre two years ago for €15m. At this moment, though, Vlahovic seems the main idea.
