Manchester United favourite Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted in a heart-warming moment with fans while on international duty with Portugal.

The all-time great was in Nations League semi-final action on Wednesday night as Portugal took on Germany at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Despite turning 40 years old earlier this year, Ronaldo was named in the starting lineup for the game.

He proved that age is just a number in the second half. After Florian Wirtz had given Germany the lead, Francisco Canceicao equalised for Portugal in the 63rd minute. Five minutes later, Ronaldo was on hand to score his 137th international goal to complete the turnaround as Portugal came out as 2-1 winners.

Ronaldo and Portugal are back in action in the final of the competition on Sunday evening (8pm kick-off). They take on Spain at the Allianz Arena.

While Ronaldo is on international duty, a video has been captured and shared on social media with him interacting with two fans outside of a hotel in Munich. The video shows the forward making a detour after getting off the team bus and heading towards the hotel.

He makes his way towards two fans in electric wheelchairs, with one wearing a Portugal shirt with ‘Ronaldo’ on the back. Ronaldo signs their shirts and takes a picture with both.

He is also seen sharing a joke with one. The first fan accidentally bumps into Ronaldo’s leg with his chair, the striker is seen smiling and rubbing his leg, joking that he’s been hurt.

After having a couple of pictures and taking a selfie, Ronaldo then says his goodbyes and heads to the hotel, giving other fans a wave as he walks off

The forward spent two separate spells at United, leaving for the second time in November 2022. He joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr in January 2023, and is said to be close to signing a new contract with the club with his current deal due to expire this summer.
