OKLAHOMA CITY (WIS) - A South Carolina artist brought his hit song to Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
Wagner-Salley native 803Fresh performed “Boots on the Ground” in Oklahoma City during halftime of the matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers.
The track, also known for its viral line dance, recently hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. 803Fresh was also recently honored at the South Carolina State House.
He also stopped by the WIS studios last month to perform “Boots on the Ground” and talk about his path to success.
