TBR Football can exclusively confirm the latest news involving Arsenal and their pursuit of a new striker.
Attacking reinforcements are a priority for Arsenal this summer, and director Andrea Berta is busy trying to get a new striker for the club early on in the window.
The Gunners failed to win a trophy in 2024/25, and the likes of Ian Wright and Chris Sutton have said that Arsenal’s recruitment was largely to blame.
Benjamin Sesko is one of Arsenal’s targets this summer, and TBR Football can reveal the latest around their pursuit of the RB Leipzig star.

Arsenal pushing to finalise Benjamin Sesko deal
Sources have confirmed to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that Arsenal are progressing with their deal for Benjamin Sesko.
The Gunners opened talks with RB Leipzig and now they are pushing to finalise a deal.
The move will be less than his official release clause and Arsenal hope a deal could be around £60million – but it is likely to be closer to £70million.
We understand that Berta has decided with Mikel Arteta that Sesko is now their main target ahead of Viktor Gyokeres.
Although Arsenal sources suggest they could still move for Gyokeres if they don’t get Sesko, their priority is now in place.
Gyokeres could still move to England this summer, even if Arsenal don’t go for him – Liverpool and Manchester United are amongst those to have shown an interest.

Why Benjamin Sesko could be a great fit for Arsenal
Sesko is a good fit for Arsenal because he ticks so many boxes for the club.
He is a player with proven quality who also has huge potential, looks built for the Premier League, and his price tag is relatively modest for a top striker.
At 21, Sesko is still at the start of his career and can still become a lot better, but he has already proven himself at the highest level – which is perfect for Arsenal.
Sesko is 6ft 4in tall and boasts impressive physicality, which means he should be able to cope with the Premier League’s meanest defenders just fine.

Leipzig technical director Christopher Vivell previously said, as per the Bundesliga website: “Benjamin Sesko is among the game’s top young talents and has enormous potential to become a top player.
“He has all the qualities to do that. He’s extremely quick, has a great jump on him and is strong in the air.
“Benjamin is a real goalscorer, who despite his 1.95m (6’4″) is mobile and technically strong. His abilities make him a special player with a special profile.”
