Indiana Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton continued his incredible postseason hot streak into the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the 25-year-old yet yet another clutch shot to steal a victory for his team, as the Pacers won Game 1 on Hali’s two-point buzzer beater.
So far this postseason, Tyrese Haliburton has hit four game-tying or go-ahead field goals in the final 5 seconds of the 4th quarter or overtime, with the latest snatching a 111-110 over the heavily-favored Thunder.
That, combined with his sudden and stark voice-change during a postgame interview with Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter, has led fans to joke that Haliburton is possessed by a demon.
Tyrese Haliburton's voice change mid-sentence is crazy. 🤣

“This isn’t even funny no more bro the demons are trying to communicate through him,” one NBA fan joked in a viral tweet after Haliburon hit yet another clutch shot to steal Game 1 of the NBA Finals from the Pacers.

Despite the last-second loss on their home court in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder remain the betting favorites for the series with odds of about -325. Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers will kick off from Oklahoma on Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m. EST.
If the Pacers can steal another road win, they’ll be heading back to Indiana with a chance to secure a historically uncatchable 3-0 series lead.
