Cavs Fans React to Tyrese Haliburton’s NBA Finals Game-Winner

There are no words to describe how clutch Tyrese Haliburton is.

He led his Indiana Pacers to the finals and in game one on Thursday night, he hit his fourth game-winning/game-tying shot in these playoffs.

The Oklahoma City Thunder held the lead for 47 minutes and 59.7 seconds of the game, but with 0.3 seconds left on the clock Haliburton hit the game-winning jump shot.

Indiana won their fourth game this postseason where the opponent had a 95% or higher win percentage and became the first team in NBA Finals history to comeback from a nine-point deficit with less than three minutes to play.

Haliburton has now hit a game-winner in every series in this postseason run and with each one he hits, he infuriates the previous fanbase even more.

Cleveland Cavaliers fans are seeing the damage he’s doing to other teams’ psyches and getting a kick out of it.

The Cavs won 64 games in the regular season and were heavy favorites to be in the conference finals.

However, some injuries and more late game heroics from the comeback kid sunk them once again in the second round.

In game two while Darius Garland and Evan Mobley were out of the lineup, Cleveland found themselves with a comfortable lead with less than a minute to play.

Then, the 2024 gold medalist led a furious comeback that was capped off by a step back three-pointer to beat the buzzer.

The Cavs’ arena was stunned and in just a few more games the series would be over.

Since this time, Haliburton has hit two more game-winners which have shaken the New York Knicks and Thunder fanbases to their core.

After being discredited all season long and rightfully mocked after being eliminated by the Pacers, Cavs fans are enjoying being able to have the last laugh.

This Cleveland fan used an iconic meme template to express just how impossible these shots have been.

Each time Haliburton hits a game-winner, everyone expects it to be the last one which just makes it that much more shocking when he makes another.

The Cavaliers did not lose because they choked against an inferior team.

They lost because the NBA world is witnessing the most clutch team in postseason history.
