It was perhaps not a surprise as the Egyptian’s brilliant effort in our final game at the Etihad had already won the Premier League’s Goal of the Season.
His memorable goal in the 3-1 victory over the Cherries capped an impressive start for Marmoush following his move to City in January.
The forward has eight goals so far, including a hat-trick against Newcastle, with the wonder hit against Bournemouth the pick of them.
Picking up the ball just inside the opposition half, Marmoush drove towards goal before unleashing a vicious, dipping effort into the top corner off the post.
The goal was the overwhelming winner with more than 85% of the votes.
It beat Mateo Kovacic’s hit against Fulham into second place with Jeremy Doku’s goal against Nottingham Forest in third place.
