The Indiana Pacers won Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder despite only having the lead for 0.3 seconds.
Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton hit a two-pointer with 0.3 seconds left in regulation to give Indiana its first and only lead at 111-110.
The Pacers trailed by 15 points in the fourth quarter to the Thunder. It was the fifth time this postseason Indiana has overcome a deficit that large and the most by any team in a single postseason since 1998.
"As a group, we never think the game is over, ever," Haliburton said. "Honestly speaking, ever. I don't know what you say about it, but I know that this group is a resilient group. And we don't give up until it's 0.0 on the clock."

After the Pacers stole Game 1, cameras caught Haliburton and Pascal Siakam exchanging strong words in the OKC tunnel. Both All-Stars know that they have to play better moving forward.
"Hell yeah," Haliburton said to Siakam. "We did our job. Cmon baby. Let's get greedy. Cmon man. Let's get greedy man. Cmon, we got so much to work on."
"We didn't even play well," Siakam said to Haliburton.
It's pretty remarkable that the Pacers won Game 1. They had 24 turnovers and gave up 38 points to Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
"If you look at all the numbers, it's not the recipe to win," Haliburton said. "We can't turn the ball over that much. We have to do a better job of being in gaps, rebounding, all over the floor. But come May and June, it doesn't matter how you get them, just get them."
The Pacers are now three wins away from winning the championship. Siakam is looking to win his second title, while Haliburton is looking to win his first ring.
